We take pride in our culture, defined by our commitment to being fact-based, diverse, transparent, meritocratic, and flexible.We have plans to continue growing our teams globally, so if you would like to join us on this rocket ship, keep reading! 📚Your work will shape and guide the sustainable decisions of investors, companies and consumers worldwide.About The RoleWe are looking for a Junior Data Research Analyst that will help us build a reliable and scalable data base of sustainability information, through research on Companies’ CSR and ESG indicators methodology and quality assurance processes.The role provides an opportunity to understand the reporting standards that exist and how companies sustainability performance is measured.What You’ll Be DoingWorking as a Junior Data Research Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring that we have the most accurate exposures and controversies data, in order to provide the most reliable sustainability impact measurements. The Junior Data Research Analyst role will include, but not be limited to, the following activities:

• Collect, verify and process Sustainability data sourced from various financial, exchange and government regulator websites and official reports.
• Assist in data collection projects through data analysis, quality assurance and data monitoring.
• Conduct frequent research on ESG reporting standards and assist in the development of methodologies for the collection of best-in-class data.
• Mentor and train external contractors and internal team on ESG indicators and sustainability frameworks.
• Perform ad hoc team projects as needed.

LocationThe role is based in MadridWay of Working: Remote / Hybrid (Full-Time)Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user).
• At least a Bachelor’s degree – Sustainability, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Accounts, Environmental Studies or similar field of study.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, database applications, and BI tools (e.g. Quicksight).
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detail to work with complex data sets.
• Highly motivated, independent, proactive and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact.

Nice To Have

• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL and/or business intelligence tools is a plus
• Experience in Data collection / data research or similar roles
• Experience in a start-up
