  • Educate and guide the organization and employees on their responsibilities under regulations and local data protection provisions.
  • Conduct internal training sessions to ensure colleagues at all levels understand their obligations under regulations and internal policies.
  • Monitor compliance with data protection laws and enforce standards and regulations.
  • Implement control systems to prevent and address GDPR violations.
  • Assess potential data protection compliance risks in future business ventures.
  • Manage requests and complaints related to privacy policies and procedures.
  • Provide strategic guidance on compliance by design and advocate for best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee assessments such as DPIAs, LIAs, and TIAs.
  • Serve as a liaison with Supervisory Authorities and handle Data Subject Requests.

  • Master of Law
  • Strong knowledge of Data Protection Laws and Regulations (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy).
  • Certification such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in privacy and data protection compliance.
  • Experience in e-commerce, banking, or payment industries.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in IT fundamentals and information security.
  • Results-driven mindset with a multicultural outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both verbal and written.

In their vibrant Brussels office, you’ll collaborate closely with the Compliance team to foster a culture of adherence to regulations. As part of the dynamic environment, you’ll work alongside the Local Data Protection Officer, supporting data privacy initiatives for the Belgium entity and contributing to global projects with DPOs from around the world.Alongside this impactful work, you’ll enjoy:
