Data Product manager (m/f/d) in Germany

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Data Product Manager to lead the design and development of user-centric Data platform and Data Products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a diverse group of stakeholders to drive the Data Product strategy, ensuring the creation of sustainable, discoverable, and accessible data assets for seamless data sharing across the entire enterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing user-centric Data platform and Data Products in close collaboration with wide group of Stakeholders

• Driving Data Product strategy and introduce Data products as sustainable, discoverable, and accessible data assets for data sharing across Enterprise

• Owning product vision, strategic roadmap, platform/products value proposition, business case, investment planning, feature backlog

• Managing entire product lifecycle in Data&Analytics and Technology Foundation spaces

• Collaborating Stakeholders and their teams to shape the end-to-end product strategy and driving the value delivery across the product landscape

• Coaching Product Owners and guide Engineering teams towards defined vision

• Managing traceability from business objectives to underlying data technology and data processes

• Defining product/portfolio success metrics

• Defining and increasing maturity of Product Management within product/portfolio teams

• Providing Market, Competition and Customer research

• Driving Business Case creation, building vs buy discovery

• Keeping abreast of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience shipping data B2B or internal products, preferably with a heavy data component (data lake, DWH, advanced analytics solutions, AI products, BI/reporting, etc.)

• Experience in managing Data Products, Data as a product, AI products, Data Technology as a Products, Data Technology as a Service

• Experience and strong knowledge in Data Governance, incl implementation or building Data Cataloging, ensuring metadata model at Enterprise level

• Strong background in the environment of data-driven, digital solutions with a focus on data platforms and data warehousing

• Very good knowledge of agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)

• Social and intercultural skills for successful interaction with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as good analytical, conceptual thinking, analytical skills, strong independence, and initiative are required

• The ability to express your ideas also to a technical audience

• Fluency in written and spoken German and English is highly required for this role
