To do this we employ ‘big-thinkers’ that share our purpose #uniquelyexperianJob DescriptionYou will ensure ongoing compliance with GDPR requirements and acts as an intermediary between regulators, data subjects (consumers and businesses), and local/regional management committees. Responsibilities include drafting privacy notices, assessing products and services, advising on data subject requests, and overseeing data protection obligations. You have expertise in legal regulatory matters, within the banking sector (AML, compliance, etc.).”Experience:
- Monitor GDPR compliance and personal data protection policies.
- Provide advice on Data Protection Impact Assessments.
- Facilitate communication with supervisory authorities and our teams.
- Understand GDPR possible effects for the business.
- Engage team members and maintain awareness of local data protection regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of the generic operational responsibilities and compliance requirements of a Credit Reference Agency (“CRA”)
- Expertise in national and European data protection laws, practices, in-depth understanding of the GDPR and knowledge of the business sector
- 3+ years of experience advising on regulatory requirements, specifically the ability to interpret and explain in “plain English”
- Proficiency in working with regulators.
- Experience of undertaking compliance monitoring, developing processes and writing reports to a high standard
- +3 years of experience in one or more senior compliance or legal roles
- English Fluent
