Then the PwC’s Technology team might be something for you!We’re looking for a talented senior data modeling consultant to join our Technology Consulting department as part of our Data & Analytics team.Your impactCommunicate with experts and stakeholders in different domains to understand their needs and limitations and the particularities of their area of expertiseExperience with the creation of conceptual and logical data models in object-oriented modeling languages (e.g. UML) and XMLDevelop vocabularies, application profiles and semantic data models/ontologies and present them to various groups of stakeholdersImplement practical solutions to enable technical, semantic and legal interoperability across different research domainsHelp clients overcome the challenges caused by data silosParticipate in standardisation projects at different levels of government (EU, national, regional)Work with data-technical experts, discussing, adopting and, where necessary, adapting existing solutions for interoperability and reuse of data.Communicate proactively with the project team in a collaborative environmentSteer and support more junior colleagues in their daily work;Work on multiple complex projects simultaneously, displaying leadership and coaching skillsLeverage the value of enterprise knowledge and data to help clients evolve towards insights-driven organisations by going through the whole “data” range: data architecture, business intelligence, machine learning, data science, visualisation and reportingEnable business growth for our top tier clients and create unique experiences for their people and customer baseUse your expertise to play a part in the success of our projects with and for our clientsAbout youObtained a Master’s Degree in (applied) economics, business engineering (e.g. management information systems), computer science, law or another discipline with a relevant economic major, possibly via a second master or a PhD degreeAt least 2 years of experience in semantic data modelingYou have a good understanding on the practical use of data and metadata standards, vocabularies, ontologies and catalogues.Eager to learn and apply new technologies (e.g. Solid, Linked Data Event Streams, eWallet)Proven experience with an interoperability project and the Semantic Web is a plusKnowledge of semantic web modeling standards such as RDF, SHACL, SKOS, Turtle and SPARQL is a plus, and/or are interested in upskilling in this areaClient-oriented and an outstanding communicatorYou are flexible, agile and eager to interact and collaborateYou have an analytical and critical mindset, and you think out of the boxFluent in Dutch and/or French, and EnglishLife at PwC BelgiumOur culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
