We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to our data governance initiatives and analytics capabilities.As a Data Governance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the data governance framework, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves collaborating with various departments to establish data governance policies, standards, and best practices.Your roleYou assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies;You maintain ang manage data catalogue, ensuring accurate and up-to-date meta-data for all data assets;You monitor and improve data quality across Fugro by identifying data issues and implementing corrective actions;You ensure data practices comply with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR and other data privacy laws;You provide training and support to employees on data governance principles and best practices;You assist data stewards in managing their data assets and resolving data-related issues;You create and maintain reports on data governance metrics, data quality issues and compliance status;Your track recordYou have a BSc or MSc degree in Data Science Information Management or Business Administration with at least 3 years of experience in data governance, data management or a related field;As a plus, you are certified in data governance or related fields such as CDMP or DGSP;You are familiar with data governance tools and technologies and have a strong understanding of data quality management and stewardship principles;You have experience with data management systems (SQL, Server, Oracle, MySQL) and have knowledge of data privacy regulations, particularly GDPR;You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

You are client-focused, have good analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and presentation abilities;You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
