If yes, you may be our new colleague.Located in Viby or Gdansk, you will be part of the Commercial Agile Release Train (ART) within the IT Solutions department. In our Commercial ART, we build the data integrations and platforms between our main systems inside our team, from other teams or with external data providers and our internal customers. Thus, you will take part in shaping our data strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving impactful projects.You will be working in a scaled agile setup (SAFe) with cross functional agile teams with colleagues from IT Solutions, our European business zone and external consultants in an international setup. We strongly believe in agile ways of working, frequent deliveries, focus on business value and empowerment.How you will make an impactAs Data Engineer, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of diverse and complex tasks. Your role will involve understanding and valuing various business requirements, while showcasing your strong problem-solving abilities and technical skills. You will be proficient in executing both technical and functional implementations, presenting ideas, and effectively collaborating with stakeholders from both the business and IT departments. Your work will involve close collaboration with Solution Architects, Developers, and Subject Matter Experts from the business domain. More specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Work together with internal customers on defining analytics and business requirements
• Capture, orchestrate, cleanse data in accordance with business requirement
• Build ETL pipelines using Azure PaaS tools, SQL and/or Python in a spark-based analytics platform
• Design, develop and support our cloud-based analytics solutions and applications
• Ensure relevant documentation and unit testing of your work and ensure peer-review
• Support, coach and mentor entry data engineers within the domain of the Data Foundation

• 2+ years of experience from a similar position
• A relevant technical degree – e.g. software engineering background or have experience in a development working environment and tools (DevOps, IaC , CI/CD etc.)
• Experience with one or multiple SQL/NoSQL languages (MSSQL, Spark SQL, PostgresSQL, Cosmos DB, etc.)
• Experience in data modelling and ability to perform data exploration – and a desire to develop your skills within data engineering
• Preferably experience in Agile project methodology (SAFE/Scrum)
• A solid knowledge of Python programming language with focus on the following areas: Web Frameworks/API, ORM, Data Manipulation and Analysis, Tasks Automation and software development
