Job description

We are looking for a Data Engineer that has a genuine interest in process automation practices. You will be a part of FCP Process Automation team which has a goal to automate processes and data flows in scope of the Financial Crime Prevention area. As a Data Engineer you will be cooperating with specialists from the team (Workflow Developers, Java Developer) to create data pipelines for automated processes.Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines needed for the automated processes
• Collaborating with developers from the team and with IT architects on defining the process implementation design
• Providing work estimates and timely updates on solution development progress.
• Helping business to understand technical capabilities, suggesting best possible solutions and explaining limitations
• Defining way of working practices, suggesting and implementing improvements

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Python, Scala, or Java programming language
• Experience with Spark or PySpark
• Experience with CI/CD and relevant tools like Github Actions
• Experience in business process analysis and automation or similar field is considered as an advantage
• Experience with cloud services (GCP) and infrastructure as a code (Terraform) is considered an advantage.
• Experience with working in Scrum
• Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex technical problems

• Being a team player open for growth and learning is crucially important for the role
• Fluent English
