Data Centre M&E Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: EUR68,000 plus 10% Bonus
Hours – Continental Shift Pattern

My client is currently seeking an additional proactive Critical Electrical Biased Engineer (Continental shift pattern) to be based at a brand-new Data Centre within Dublin working directly with the Data Hosting Company.

Working within a specialist Critical team you would be based at a state-of-the-art technical Data Centre that offers an excellent modern and clean environment. This is an opportunity not to be missed with plenty of training where needed and progression opportunities.

Duties:

– Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems, including generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and power distribution units.
– HV Shutdowns
– Respond to electrical faults, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
– Oversee the electrical aspects of site operations, working closely with other technical teams to maintain 24/7 uptime.
– Participate in shift-based operations, ensuring the data centre is operating efficiently and safely around the clock.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
– Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work, and repairs.

Requirements:

– Trade trained with ideally 3 years’ experience in the building services
– City & Guilds Qualified Electrical Level 3.
– Critical site (Data Centre or Banking Sites)
– Good building services knowledge
– Excellent Client Facing
