The Vestas Data Products department is a newly established department within Digital Solutions. The department’s primary objective is to deliver data products to the entire Vestas value-chain. As a Data Analyst Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to join the department in its early phase, where the team is still defining its new department and setting ambitious goals. Data products are designed to facilitate end-goals through the use of data.Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst Specialist you will be creating the solutions of our data products in a rapid growing environment centered around data. In this role, you will become part of driving and developing data products, that serves all business functions in Vestas with data. Together with the Product Owners you will be making sure that our data products are build according to our standards and that we building things the right way.

  • Enable a data driven organization through data analytics deployed via self-service tools, to make better decisions based on insights from data.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and relevant content for internal stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement of existing dashboards through own initiative and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support with developing and tracking key business & operational performance indicators.
  • Develop recommendation for how to enrich the existing product suite.
  • Collaborate with your product team to deliver on OKRs.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or relevant with 3+ years of experience as Data Analyst.
  • Experience working with data analytics, data business intelligence, data science or similar.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies, such as SAP BW/HANA, Datasphere, Snowflake, Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric is good to have.
  • Experience with front-end tools such as Power BI and/or SAC is a must.
  • Strong understanding of visualization and story telling concepts.
  • You thrive in a changeable environment and have a flexible mindset working in a DevOps setup is good to have.
