In the Commercial Data & AI Strategy team, we are on an exciting journey to build the capabilities required to drive the commercial business in the rapidly evolving world of digital and AI.We are in the process of building a team of exceptionally ambitious Data & AI Engagement Managers. To achieve this, we are looking for two distinct profiles: one with a strong technical background and skill set (including expertise in data science, physics, mathematics or similar), and another with a background in data and analytics strategy.This is an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming commercial teams through advanced data, analytics & AI solutions, delivering substantial impact and value to our business and ultimately patients worldwide.The Data & AI Engagement Manager role is a pivotal partner to the business, responsible for translating complex business problems into solutions within the realms of data, analytics & AI. This role demands a deep business acumen as well as the ability to manage the full development lifecycle of data, analytics & AI-driven projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Act as partner to the business owner, pressure-testing and refining and scoping business problems into actionable data, analytics & AI-driven projects.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Mapping the appropriate mix of technical capabilities for project execution, tailored to the specific needs of each project.
- Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle of data, analytics & AI projects, maintaining deep involvement in technology choices, architecture decisions, and roadmap planning.
- Operate across one or multiple projects within commercial sectors, adapting approach and team composition based on the project type and seniority level.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data, analytics & AI and technology to continually enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure partnership and effective collaboration across multiple DD&IT functions and commercial units in Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Preferable a strong background in data science, mathematics, physics, data analytics, or related fields. For the alternative profile, experience in economics, business, or related fields with exposure to data, analytics & AI.
- 1+ years of consulting experience, focusing on data, analytics, and AI transformations.
- Proven expertise in implementing data and AI solutions to address real-world business challenges, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data modeling (coding not required).
- Strong project management skills, from ideation to execution.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not essential.

You are an excellent communicator, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you build trust and alignment through collaboration.
