Why do we need you ?

Role :

As the CyberSOC Protect Manager, you are responsible for managing the Cybersecurity services provided to the Group: tour team is composed of 2 people in Paris and ~20 people in India. You will be responsible for :

  • Develop relationships with cybersecurity vendors for the technologies used in Protect service line (organize periodical business / technical reviews, assist in tenders, contract renewals etc.),
  • Follow solutions’ updates and define internal road map for Cybersecurity services (upgrade version, bug fix, new features etc.),
  • Answer internal customer business needs and upgrade the services accordingly,
  • Contribute during building / project phase with stakeholders ensuring proper handover to run/operations,
  • Manage run/operations for cybersecurity services operated by Protect service line,
  • Define, update, maintain key performance indicators and SLOs,
  • Implement quality and performance metrics, dashboards, and reviews,
  • Maintain in operational working conditions the services and technical infrastructures,
  • Contribute to the definition of CyberSOC roadmap,
  • Collaborate with other teams to increase CyberSOC maturity,
  • Define improvement actions (Continuous Service Improvement) and ensure support is provided,
  • Contribute to CyberSOC Protect team members’ growth and overall team development,
  • Participate in recruitments of new team members.

Part of CyberSOC team is based in India. The Protect teams work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day (depends of the

team). To help you being successful in your role you can rely on the support of the entire team.

Technical environment :

As the CyberSOC Protect Manager, you will be managing various cybersecurity tools and technologies which are deployed worldwide; among them are:

  • Web Application Firewall
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Group PKI
  • Endpoint Detection Response
  • Antivirus & antimalware solutions
  • Privileged access management
  • Active Directory security compliance solution

Is this job for you ?

Profile :

  • Master degree,
  • 5 to 6 years minimum of experience in cybersecurity,
  • Good experience with Cybersecurity operations, services,
  • Ability to fully understand technical topics & challenges,

Skills :

  • Results oriented and customer service oriented
  • Adaptability to different environments and technologies
  • Professional curiosity and desire to understand
  • Good knowledge of SSL protocol, X.509 standard, certificates enrollment and revocation process
  • Knowledge of security infrastructure equipment (Firewall, Proxy, VPN, Load-balancer) and network protocols (DNS, SSL, HTTP, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux architecture) and Active Directory
  • Ability to work in a team (openness, interpersonal skills)
  • Ability to understand technical subjects and deep-dive technical subjects
  • Ability to be concise and sense of reporting to management
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Professional English (Oral and written)
  • Initiative and solution provider
  • Basic knowledge of scripting
  • Autonomy

The “Protect” service line is one of CyberSOC’s four service lines and it outlines appropriate safeguards to ensure delivery of infrastructure services. “Protect” supports the ability to limit or contain the impact of a potential cybersecurity event.

  • The position is based at Saint-Gobain’s head office in La Defense
  • Some trips to India or abroad are to be expected
