What role will you play in our team

At our IT Organization we are looking for University students to join our 6 month Internship program as Cyber Security Intern to help take on the world’s energy challenges with us through a career in ExxonMobil.
Forming part of an Intern team working on automating business and IT processes, you will be trusted with interesting tasks bringing business value across our entire organization, including Cyber Security, Software Engineering, API Development, Cloud Operations and Network Operations and so on. As an Intern you will have the opportunity to participate in real IT projects and work together with our architects, subject matter experts as part of a multicultural environment gaining valuable experience in cutting edge new technologies.

What you will do

-Partner with other IT teams in the organization
-Collaborate with IT experts and subject matter experts on an everyday basis
-Work on pre-defined tasks and projects
-By the end of the internship develop and implement solutions with documentation

About you: skills and qualifications

-Join with an expected start date 2nd or 9th of March 2026
-Ongoing BSc or MSc studies in Computer Science or relevant field
-Some experience in programming, monitoring and automation 
-Experience in .NET, Python, Java, Javascript, HTML5 and basic knowledge of database technologies is an advantage
-Familiarity with Azure Cloud or AWS or any other cloud platforms is welcomed
-Awareness of CI/CD: Github, Jenkins, Azure DevOps is an advantage
-Good problem solving, planning and analytical skills
-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and effective multi-cultural & virtual team work
-Solid verbal and written communications skills in English
