Role Purpose:

The candidate will join the IT Customer Value Management (CVM) team, within the Information Technology department. The mission of the team is the solution design and delivery of the marketing applications managed in the area with focus on Campaign management, Digital Marketing and Loyalty & Rewards applications. 

The candidate will be responsible of the technical design and developments on the tools of the area, defining the best technical solutions for the projects he/she will be involved and developing the custom code for the system under his/her management.

The candidate will directly collaborate with mixed team composed by local and offshore development resources trying to reach high quality of the delivery and respecting the timeline of the activities.

The CVM area includes multiple technologies: these cover both Cloud (GCP, bigquery) and on premises (Oracle, Oracle ODI, custom java fe/be, api/data integration layers, kafka queue, Oracle OSB, linux scripting). The ideal candite will have previous experience in different of them, mandatory experience is requested on JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, and integration. System administration and setting up a CI/CD workflow are within team scope as well.

Determination and proactivity plus a great desire to learn by experiment and get involved in different technologies are key aspect in the candidate, considering we are adding new products to our application stack.

He/she will be allocated in an international IT ecosystem, working with foreign colleagues with the opportunity to learn and be in contact with always new technologies.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Responsible for the architectural design and developments of the new solutions of the area
  • Scouting of innovative solutions/enhancements for the systems of the area
  • Responsible for the Technical Documentation management and the Application maintenance of the solution delivered
  • Governance of outsourced Suppliers involved in the area providing supervision and guidance to developments
  • Collaborate strictly with Operation teams to assure the best E2E service to the final customers
  • Manage the activities assigned to achieve the business requirements within the agreed timelines with high quality and in an Agile work environment

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of at least 5-7 years in design and develop complex integrated solutions
  • Skilled in REST/SOAP APIs and JSON protocols (familiar with CSM API model), Streaming protocols (Kafka, PubSub, ..), Java and Unix/RH SO
  • Experience in Cloud base data architecture design and implementation (GCP preferred)
  • Knowledge and expertise in CI/CD 
  • Fluent in speaking and writing in English

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Deeper knowledge of complex and integrated enterprise environments (Telco market preferred) and BSS systems
  • Strong experience in JavaScript programming language
  • Development experience using Java Spring Boot.
  • Develop microservices using Java Spring Boot for data analytics and transformation. 
  • Preferred knowledge of Oracle Weblogic and/or Tomcat 
  • Preferred Knowledge of some of the Campaign Automation platforms (HCL Unica, Pega, Airship, Acoustic, ..)

Academic Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or other related scientific fields
