We believe in the potential that software can bring to make a difference together.We are looking for a Director of Software Team to make an impact within our Home & Distribution business unit, leading our global software and mobile application strategy to new heights.Your role :As the Director of Software Team (5 direct reports), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital offerings across the globe. Your mission will encompass defining the global strategy for our software and mobile applications while driving innovation to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and monetization. You will also lead the execution of our software roadmap, ensuring successful deployment across our global hubs.Your missions :Strategic Leadership and Innovation

  • Define and Drive Strategy: Craft and implement a comprehensive global strategy for software and mobile app development that aligns with the Home & Distribution business unit’s goals.
  • Lead Innovation Efforts: Explore and introduce innovative solutions to improve customer loyalty, engagement, and monetization through our software platforms.
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities, ensuring our strategy remains cutting-edge.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders: Work closely with the business unit’s leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader company objectives.

Execution of Global Software Roadmap

  • Lead Roadmap Execution: Oversee the development and implementation of the software and mobile app roadmap, driving successful global rollouts.
  • Coordinate Global Deployments: Ensure smooth and strategic deployment of software solutions across various regional hubs, adapting to local market needs.
  • Resource Optimization: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet roadmap objectives and timelines.
  • Monitor Performance: Track the progress of all software initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to meet business targets.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage Global Teams: Lead and mentor the software business owners, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages innovation and excellence.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer clear and actionable guidance to software teams, ensuring alignment with global business strategies.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with product management, marketing, sales, and other key stakeholders to ensure cohesive and successful execution.
  • Develop Talent: Identify and nurture talent within the team, supporting continuous learning and career growth.

Your profile :

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and/or Business Administration
  • Minimum of10 years of experience in digital transformation within customer environment, software development experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, ideally with global or multi-regional responsibilities.

Your skills :

  • Expertise in developing and executing software strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. Strong collaboration and customer centric mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and mobile application development.
  • Experience with global deployments and a strong understanding of regional market requirements.
  • English fluent mandatory, other european language as a plus
