If so, the position as Shipping Coordinator in Vikan’s Customer Service in Skive might be your next challenge.Shipping – Processes and optimisationYour central task will be to ensure smooth process execution and continuous optimisation of the shipping area. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the shipping team in customer service with daily transport planning and execution
• Actively participating in daily tasks such as preparing transport documents, price calculations, and handling complaints
• Process owner for shipping processes, including development and documentation of processes
• Monitoring various IT integrations to ensure full process execution
• Super user of shipping software systems and developing these (experience with digitalisation is an advantage)
• Cooperation with external shipping companies and participation in contract negotiations with our Sourcing department
• Building and maintaining relevant KPI systems for the transport area

This is a key role with many interfaces both internally and externally within the organisation. The function must ensure continuous development of our shipping processes and ensure efficient daily execution so that Vikan can continue to meet customers’ high expectations regarding deliveries. You will be part of our Customer Service team in Skive and report to our Group Customer Service Manager.Experience with transport planning, IT systems, process optimisation, and documentation is requiredYou likely have an educational background as a freight forwarder, shipping assistant, export assistant, or similar. You possess strong IT skills and experience with shipping tools and work confidently with ERP systems. You have experience from a similar position and have worked on process improvements within the shipping area.
