The primary focus entails cultivating sales leads, surpassing sales targets, and delivering unparalleled customer service. We seek an individual with a genuine passion for assisting customers and the adeptness to effectively communicate product attributes that align with each customer’s distinct needs.Main responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Technical Expertise and Sales Prowess: Understand technical requisites, offer detailed technical information, and cultivate accounts to encourage the purchase of Norden products. Showcase confidence in positioning Norden’s Aftermarket products and services.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by initiating and closing new sales opportunities, proactively prospecting for new business, and meticulously following up on leads in the pipeline. Implement targeted campaigns to generate and manage business opportunities, aligning with specific directives from product-line managers.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Develop a profound understanding of the aftersales market through extensive customer interaction and networking. Consult with potential and existing customers, identify their requirements, and provide tailored guidance on our products and services.
  • Relationship Building and Database Management: Expand and maintain the customer relations management database (CRM) while nurturing existing customer relationships through consistent engagement and follow-ups.
  • Collaborative Support: Collaborate closely with fellow sales representatives, Area sales managers, Machine sales managers, Service, and management to ensure seamless, world-class customer service delivery.
  • Project Accountability: Take ownership of all special and customer-driven project deliverables, providing comprehensive status reports as required.
  • Other Duties: Fulfill additional responsibilities as delegated.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a technical selling focus.
  • Preferred background in a technical field with knowledge of packaging equipment or related industries.
  • Proficient in customer service, leadership, and sales support.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for active listening, organized presentations, and compelling written communication.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and PowerPoint), and adeptness in CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics, and ideally, experience with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of commercial terms and adeptness in negotiating and resolving commercial issues with customers.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Confident presentation and communication skills in articulating After Sales products and services with technical expertise.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Capability to establish credibility with customers, assess equipment, and provide recommendations in diverse environments.
  • Proven track record in surpassing ambitious sales targets and implementing successful sales development strategies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
