Job Title: Customer Care Assistant (Veterinary Receptionist)

Salary: £19,895 per annum

Location: Maven Veterinary, Sutton

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Hours: 31.77 hours per week (Average)

Shifts: Set at least one month in advance.

Monday to Friday: Various shifts between the hours of 7:30 to 20:30.

Full weekend: Saturday 9:00am to 16:30 and Sunday 10:00 to 14.30 with time in lieu given the following week.

Saturday only: 9:00 to 16:00.

The weekends are shared in a 1 in 9 rotation.

We are currently seeking a Customer Care Assistant to join the fantastic team at Maven Veterinary Care!

Our Front of house team are the friendly and welcoming faces for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice.

We are a friendly team who enjoy a close relationship with our clients. We are dedicated to excellent customer care, which helps us with our ultimate aim of keeping pets living as long, happy and healthy lives as possible.

Your role and responsibilities

Duties include but not limited to:

• Initial client contact – answering incoming phone calls, greeting clients at the front desk

• Managing the diary – Booking appointments for consultations and surgery

• Processing client requests such as orders, repeat prescriptions and insurance claims

• Managing incoming emails

• Taking payments and managing daily cashing-up processes

• Ensuring the reception area is always clean, tidy and welcoming

Required Experience

• ​Applicants must have at least 1 years experience in a customer service role

• Experience within a Veterinary business (Highly desirable)
