The Principal Services Business Development Manager for Cytiva will build technical credibility for the Cytiva Cell Culture business by providing scientific, strategic, and business support of upstream customers for cell line (CLD) and cell culture media development (CCMD) services. This position will work closely with the commercial sales teams, FAS, Product Management, and the Director of Services. This role will encompass business development, strategy, and support of growth initiatives.
This position is part of the global Technical Program and Project Management Team and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Assure Cytiva/HyClone customers received world class customer service regarding the logistical aspects of custom made products.
Support Custom Account Project Managers to facilitate creation of and maintain custom product specifications for main product lines, Media, Processed Liquid and Buffers (PL&B) and Serum.
Manage custom media and sera projects
Schedule teleconferences and on-site meetings
Coordinate internal resources to best meet customer’s needs.
Facilitate custom products specification approvals
Create and submit product specifications to customers for approval
Follow up on submitted approval packages
Deliver customer approvals to the appropriate internal parties for further processing
Answer customer, sales representative, and account support questions relating to custom product specifications and overall Cytiva Cell Culture manufacturing capabilities.
Facilitate custom product specification revisions and required customer approvals
Represent Customer Support Team for customer product failure investigations
Present Contract Review and Change Notification Standard Operating procedures to customers during on-site facility audits.
Review incoming customer serum specifications
Compare incoming customer serum specifications with Cytiva/HyClone standard specifications
Deliver differences to serum product manager
Once approval is received log and provide approved specifications to capabilities specialist
Support and participate in continuous improvement projects and submit routine ideas
Maintain department standard work files and work with Contract Review Team Leader to assure team compliance
Other activities as directed by management
Who you are:
BS degree in business or science or a minimum of 3 years industry experience.
Fluent in English
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Ability to effectively and efficiently interact with all departments
Excellent verbal and written communications
Self motivated, able to work with little supervision
Personal creativity and problem solving skills
Ability to handle stress related situations
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently
The salary for this position is approximately € 60,000 gross per annum (full-time) and may be higher in case of particularly experienced and qualified candidates. We would be happy to discuss further details in a personal interview.
