The management of the curriculum will cover a combination of vocational qualifications, English and maths as well as all aspects of the programme of study, work experience, enrichment and tutorial delivery.The successful candidates will be required to deliver sessions within their specialism along with managing part of the Faculty Area. The role will include supporting the Head of Faculty, and Assistant Principal to drive high standards in developing the teaching and learning and assessment including English, maths and vocational skills, reaching out and liaising with stakeholders to enrich the programme of study; implementing and upholding quality assurance processes across the faculty area; carrying out standard management duties and delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment within their own classes.What you’ll bringThe successful candidate will:· Hold a recognised L5 teaching qualification· Strong communication skills· Have teaching experience in the relevant area· Be able to analyse and interpret attendance, achievement, retention data· Have a passion to work in Further Education and making a difference to young people’s livesIt would also be preferable if you have previous curriculum management experience.Please submit a current CV relevant to the role and ensure that you look at the person specification attached as they are an integral part of the selection process.
