Location: Netherlands (Relocators are Welcome)

Qualifications and Skills

* Minimum bachelor’s degree in agronomy or related, with a master’s degree considered an advantage, in plant science or related fields.
* Minimum of 7 years of proven experience and high technical agronomic skills in this industry.
* Fundamental knowledge of crop protection and crop nutrition.
* Proficiency in English, with other international languages like Spanish as a plus.
* Excellent presentation skills, both verbally and technically.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

As the Head Agronomist, you will play a key role in the company’s technical team and contribute to the product management efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

* Implementing the product range in different markets
* Technical and sales development, including preparing for new product launches.
* Creating technical presentations in various territories
* Agronomic technical presentations in the territories
* Developing product informative sheets (PIS) for existing and new products
* Assisting the regulatory and logistic departments with new product registrations
* Collaborating with local and regional teams to provide expert guidance on our products
* Conducting market research and surveys to understand market scenarios
* Ability to create Peer review from public domain related to agronomic and regulatory practices and regulation from different territories around the world
* Educate for best agronomic and nutrition technical practices across the territories
* Set strategic product positioning in different countries and be involved in the day to day registration process of those products
* Form and sustain close partnership with the territories technical and sales parties to establish good and effective technical knowledge of the company’s products
* Coordination & execution of development trials for current pipeline and future need
* Develop agronomic protocols and summarise data to validate/develop technical assumptions
* Provide expert guidance to Product regulatory and sales teams by defining technical value of products that will ensure the successful implementation of business plans and registration work
* Make recommendations of current trends, practices, developments and regulatory changes, which could impact products
* Recommend trials to support technical profiling and utilise industry network to successfully develop and deploy globally supported field trials across the regions
* Support regional sales team with technical product knowledge
* Market research initiatives and surveys to understand the market scenario
