We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.As CRO Senior Program Manager you will manage Gearboxes, Accessories and Airfoils/Structures businesses. In this role, you will be accountable to achieve outstanding program performances, fulfill contractual requirements and reach excellent Customers satisfaction levels.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Program Director, is responsible for P145 program contracts, leading a team of Program ManagersExecute the strategy for Contracts improvementsResponsible for meeting Company economics/financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiativesLead NPI repairs development / industrialization jointly with key functions (ITO, GSC and Engineering), for both external and internal customers (GE Repair facilities or engine platform owners)Review on regular basis with Program Managers the budget, business plan, economics (REV, GM, collections) and program KPIs (e.g.: OTD, VoC)Ensure the application of risk management, monitoring the execution of mitigation activitiesAccountable for defining program governance with Customer, leads Program Managers (where applicable) to meet the Program milestones in terms of timing, financials and qualityDefine actions with cross-functional team to address customer concerns and maximize Customer satisfactionResponsible for flowing-down the goals to the team(s) and for people developmentDefine team structures, objectives and people development in terms of hard and soft competences growth according to the OTR competences modelAccountable for the flow-down of Customer DemandResponsible for Program Control Board and Cost Review Board preparationSupports the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer needs through the negotiations, until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meetingMotivate and inspires the team to drive daily activities applying standard work and operating rhythm to focus on the specific prioritiesEnsure the correct archive of the contractual documentation and correspondence with the CustomersQualifications/RequirementsMaster’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, preferred graduation in Aerospace EngineeringSignificant experience in Program Management, Commercial or equivalent roles within the Service BusinessBusiness AcumenProven Leadership and Influencing abilityStructured Problem-Solving approachStrong oral and written communication skillsOrganization, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasksProactive, adaptable, and able to work with an entrepreneurial approach in a complex environmentOrientation to CustomerFluent written and spoken Italian and English languagesKnowledge of office automationAvailability to travel as needed to support the BusinessWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsExperience in the Aviation IndustryKnowledge of SAPSix Sigma trainingLean toolsStrong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, and to lead programs / projects: ability to document, plan, market, and execute programsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
