Job Title: Cremations Coordinator

Salary: £14,779.44 per annum

Location: Sandhole Veterinary Centre, Kent

Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Hours: 18 hours per week over 3 days, from 5pm – 11pm

We are looking for a compassionate and caring individual to manage our pet crematorium and perform some cleaning duties within our practice. We need someone diligent, thoughtful and crafty.

We are a supportive team, with a family feel who all have the same goals in mind…….to grow the practice and continue to provide excellent care. We believe end-of-life care is as important as the early stages of a pet’s life. Our Crematorium service provides the dignity and care our patients deserve when the time comes to say goodbye.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the smooth running of the crematorium

• Preparing ashes

• Health and Safety checks

• Cleaning duties including floor cleaning.

• Liaising with the clinical/client care team

• Ensuring our ‘goodbye’ areas are well looked after.

• Some small maintenance jobs.

• Making sure our end-of-life journey is dignified and respectful.
