About our group:Seagate’s Credit Department focuses on mitigating credit risks while focusing on managing credit lines worldwide efficiently. Supporting Collection Team while maintaining excellent relationship with our customers are also some of our primary responsibilities. We are an organized and well-established Group that is constantly looking for high quality service to support the business.About the role – you will:

  • Assesses the risks and financial strength of new and existing clients while continually monitoring industry sector developments.
  • Examine and manage counterparty credit and market risk exposures to ensure compliance with Seagate risk appetite.
  • Work with other Credit Team members to expand the use of credit risk mitigation tools, managing the risk profile within acceptable parameters.
  • Help monitor real time risk working with market risk whilst gaining a further introduction into the market risk function.
  • Conduct detailed financial statement analysis Assess credit requests and present findings to peers, leaders, and partners.
  • Properly handle client requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation to a more senior team member if necessary.
  • Contribute to the creation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Works proactively with other team members.

About you:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels and able to build and develop relationships with different stakeholders within the business.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Strong curiosity about data analysis, accounting and business finance analysis1-2 years’ experience in related role or related school coursework.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, with specific skills in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, SQL).
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Methodical in approach with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sound verbal/written communication abilities in English.
  • The confidence to fail.
  • Self-starter with a drive for process improvements and the ability to problem-solve
  • Quick and eager learner with a “can-do” attitude
  • Able to successfully multi-task, prioritize and plan work activities as to use time effectively and be efficient.
  • Highly detailed oriented, able to take effective notes and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Always ready and willing to offer assistance and be a great teammate.
  • Able to be flexible and handle a multitude of urgent matters and last-minute requests.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience with financial accounting analysis through coursework.
  • SAP Experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Your experience includes:

  • Fresh graduate from a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program.
  • Available to start as soon as possible for a 6-month program, 40 hours per week.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel).
  • Must be authorized to work in the Netherlands for any employer.
