About the role :

We’re looking for a Creative Director – Performance & Engagement Marketing to join our In-House Creative Agency and help elevate Back Market’s mission-driven brand globally. This hybrid role requires a minimum of two days on-site per week. As the first member of our Performance & Engagement Marketing team, you’ll play a crucial role in growing our in-house creative agency, working closely with an international team and reporting to the Executive Creative Director.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): ????

  • Lead the creation of top-tier Performance & Engagement Marketing assets across various channels (paid digital advertising channels, website & app communications, paid social content, etc.)
  • Drive creative excellence that enhances brand consideration, conversion, click-through and sales
  • Build and manage the first-ever Performance & Engagement Marketing Creative team, establishing processes, best practices, and cross-functional workflows
  • Hire and develop a team of content writers, visual designers, motion designers, and content creators
  • Collaborate with global marketing partners, including in-house Performance & Engagement Marketing Managers and the Senior Lead Designer
  • Develop adaptable design and storytelling systems that can evolve over time
  • Innovate creative solutions based on audience insights, business needs, and media trends
  • Optimize the creative process for high-volume asset production
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to align team output with business goals

  • You have 8+ years of experience in creative and performance & engagement marketing, including team management
  • You can effectively apply complex Brand Guidelines
  • You’re knowledgeable across various creative fields and have a strong portfolio
  • You’re collaborative, enthusiastic, and ego-free
  • You’re comfortable managing multiple projects and working with an international team
  • You understand the Performance & Engagement Marketing space and know how to create standout work across major paid channels (Meta, Google, TikTok)
  • You have expertise in website and mobile app communications, as well as in developing mid- and lower-funnel creative assets
  • You’re passionate about researching and understanding customers and their shopping behavior.
