Req ID 70529 | Częstochowa PSS Eng&Glob.F, Poland, ZF Passive Safety Systems Poland Sp. z o.o.Crash & Passive Safety CAE Engineer is responsible for modeling and simulation of passive safety systems like airbags, seatbelts in a virtual environment of the car structure in order to optimize it via minimizing injury of occupants in a crash scenario. She or he performs simulations according to consumer and/or homologation standards (ECE R94, FMVSS 208, EuroNCAP, USNCAP, Trias, etc.) using commercial FEA codes.Your task:
- Building up of airbag and of seat belt FEA models • Integration of airbag, seatbelt FEA models and dummy positioning in sled and/or crash test virtual environment
- Optimization of restrain safety systems according to consumer and homologation regulations (e.g. ECE R94, FMVSS 208, EuroNCAP, USNCAP, Trias, etc.)
- Corporation within project development team (presentation of FEA results, recommending design changes)
- Participation in customer meetings (OEMs)
Your profile:
- M. Sc./ PhD degree in Mechanics or Injury Bio-mechanics or Physics or Aerospace or Civil Engineering
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of FEA
- Min. 1 year experience in FEA
- Very good background in kinematics and dynamics of MBS and/or FEA
- Analytic mind, accurate, systematic and self-reliant
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good spoken/written English
Optional skill:
- experience in one of commercial FEA Codes: Ansys, Abaqus, LsDyna, PamCrash, Radioss , Madymo, MSC Adams.
