The Position
As a Clinical Research Associate, you will part of the team executing clinical trial activities for conducting clinical trials and non-interventional studies. Your main responsibilities will be to execute clinical trial protocols according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH Guidelines, federal regulations, and SOPs. You will be responsible for the conduct of activities starting from the receipt of the CTA package to the CTR submission according to local and international regulations.
Your main responsibilities will include:
-Monitoring Clinical Trial Projects at the site level, ensuring compliance with all trial-specific requirements, and coordinating end-of-trial activities including query resolution, site closure, and collection of documentation required for clinical trial reports. You will further be responsible for driving continuous improvement in projects.
-Preparing payment orders required by the study, as well necessary study documentation. Meeting the key milestones in the trial and reach the recruitment goals and executing high quality data from Sites Staff.
-Acting as an ambassador for Novo Nordisk, ensuring that the profile of the company remains high amongst key stakeholders through establishing a peer-to-peer relationship based on quality, compliance and integrity.
-Providing training for various internal and external stakeholders in trials management and spending time both in-office as well as in the field.
-Interacting with receptive HCPs that are ready to execute the high-level clinical trials and you will be provided with an ample training, the latest data and strong monitoring knowledge, so you’ll always be prepared to be at your best.
Qualifications
You should have an educational background preferably within the Health Sciences (biology, pharmacy etc). Additional post graduate training and degrees will be considered as an asset.
The ideal candidate should have:
-University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s), preferably in medical or pharmacy background, chemistry and biology.
-At least 2 years of previous work experience within Clinical Research.
-Strong organizational and relationships building skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Proficient in MS Office.
-English – intermediate level is a must have
-Willingness to travel around the country – approximately 6 monitoring visits per month with combination of working from office and home.
Preferably, you can work independently and have a good understanding of project management, as well as the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment with a service minded attitude.
It is expected that you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office Package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The job also requires proficiency in Slovak and English, good communication skills, and cross-cultural understanding.
