Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £36,890 Per Annum (Subject to experience)
Reporting To: Education ManagerIN SHORTMilton Keynes College have an opportunity for a passionate Cover Teacher who believes in the power of transforming lives through learning. If you can effectively engage with learners and can demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, we would like you to be part our education team based at HMP Maidstone. The role will involve some delivery in Education as cover, as well as some Outreach delivery on the wings.The core of the delivery will be Maths/English/IT, but you may be required to cover other subjects to meet the contractual demands of the department. Support would be given to develop in subject areas you are not experienced in, if you have a passion for teaching and a willingness to develop.Milton Keynes College is passionate about reducing re-offending by providing learners with qualifications and skills that they can apply to employment whilst in custody and upon release.
