Start Date: ASAPTeaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our partner Secondary Schools in Newport as a Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to gain experience in the education sector, particularly individuals considering a future career in teaching. What is a cover supervisor? A CS will manage the classroom in the absence of a teacher, and will deliver the pre-prepared lesson materials to the pupils. No qualifications are needed for this role, making it a great opportunity for those who would love to work as a teacher to give it a go before considering doing a PGCE.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects and year groups in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline, in line with school policies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure consistent and high-quality educational delivery.
• Act as a professional role model, maintaining focus and positive behavior to foster a productive learning environment.
• Use strong time management and communication skills to create an efficient classroom experience.
