Job Description:Grade UE04: £25,433 to £28,081 per annumSchool of Social and Political Science / CAHSSFull time: 35 hours per weekOpen ended: PermanentThe Opportunity:The Course Administrator supports the delivery of the School’s taught course provision, and associated student assessment, within the teaching office team on the annual cycle of the academic year. The ideal candidate will enjoy working under pressure to consistently provide excellent and timely standards of support to both students and staff.This post is full time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combine a mix of remote (within the UK) and regular on-campus working, however a majority of working hours will be campus- and office-based.The salary for this post is £25,433-£28,081 per annum.Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A strongly developed sense of service delivery and student focussed approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including confident telephone manner and high standard of written English and numeracy skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Resourcefulness and ability to use initiative
  • Excellent all-round secretarial skills (including MS Word, spreadsheets, email)

Overall 39% of our research activity was classified as world leading with a further 47% assessed as internationally excellent.
