Our Team: CHC Quality EUROPE & LATIN AMERICA (EULA)

We make sure that safe and reliable Health Care goods (CHC Drug & Non-Drug (e.g., Cosmetics, Food Supplements, Medical Devices, …) “Love Brands”) are manufactured, distributed and available in Europe and LatAm countries (EULA region) to meet the healthcare needs and expectations and to satisfy our consumers and patients. We support business priorities by ensuring Quality of CHC products, information, and services to ensure patients/customers safety, thus contributing to “Take Health in your Hands”. 

The Country Quality Head of France defines and coordinates the implementation of the quality assurance policy within the Opella Healthcare France entity, in cooperation with the teams of the Scientific Affairs department and the Supply chain, by associating the control indicators. It ensures compliance with the rules of internal good practice and the Public Health Code, to allow the provision of quality, safe and effective products, information, and services, and thus satisfy the needs of patients and customers.

The Country Quality Head France reports directly to the Head of CHC Quality Europe & Latin America

Main responsibilities:

• Management of a team of 4 people by ensuring effective talent management, the deployment of Sanofi values, and budget management.
• Implementing and maintaining a quality management system for various health-regulated products.
• Managing authorized activities, ensuring accuracy and quality of records.
• Implementing and maintaining training programs.
• Handling customer complaints effectively.
• Approving suppliers, customers, and subcontracted activities impacting GDP.
• Conducting regular self-inspections and implementing corrective measures.
• Managing records of delegated duties.
• Supervision of product quality management, in particular by contributing to batch recalls or any other major quality event.
• Ensuring adherence to national law requirements.
• Management of internal audits, and inspections of Authorities.
• Anticipation and risk management.
• Quality project management in a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Cross-functional management within the CHC France Affiliate (OHF).
• Key role in ensuring consistent application of Quality requirements.
• Management of professional relations with the Authorities (ANSM, DGCCRF) and professional associations

About you

• Educational Qualifications: Pharmacist inscribed to the Order
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in product and/or system quality assurance.
• Cross-functional skills: Pragmatism, ability to facilitate and show common sense. Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization, challenge the status quo, and encourage simplification of operations while ensuring compliance requirements. Leadership with an appropriate level of flexibility. Ability to communicate and inform within the subsidiary with group partners, and externally Authorities/Inspectors.
• Business skills: Knowledge of quality regulations in France and the standards in force. Master quality methods and tools. Know how to define robust evaluation models of processes and strategic and technical orientations. Know how to develop a comprehensive approach to quality assurance.Auditor qualification would be a plus.
• Languages: French, and a good level in English.
