You’ll report to the Country Finance Manager and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.As a Country Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate transparent information, support and performance enablers to the site management team. Furthermore, you will set the environment to collect, consolidate, analyse and validate financial data in order to produce actual budgets and forecasts, draw conclusions on variances of resource allocation and recommend corrective actionThe role will be based in Copenhagen and frequent travels will be required.We’ll look to you for:

  • Financial Management and Controlling:
  • Annual and monthly reporting
  • Develop and follow up on budgets and forecasts including cost controlling
  • Cash and treasury reporting and follow up
  • Capacity planning and reporting
  • Support and guide Finance Project Managers
  • Challenge and give some insight for risks or variance analyses.
  • Set targets and control environment for the cost management within the sites in order to maximize performance.
  • Reporting and coordination
  • Validate the financial structure of the locations (processes and systems) in order to satisfy all internal and external requirements.
  • Comply with the reporting definitions of Alstom guidelines in order to provide consistent and informative management information and ensure compliance with Internal Control
  • Prepare Annual accounts for the legal entity to ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Support in Transfer Pricing
  • Interface with the Country Finance Manager from the operations side to report and cascade information.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance Management, Audit and Site Control.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Analytical and Problem-solving mindset.
  • Reliable and Agile with a strong customer focus.
  • Fluent in English.
