Job DescriptionLeap29 are working with a large international consultancy, who are looking for a cost analyst to join their team in The Hague.The role requires basic knowledge regarding engineering cost management in the Netherlands. Travelling outside of the Netherlands may be required on basis of business trips.Main Responsibilities:

• Basis Cost control activities
• Work together with the applicable project teams and support the cost control lead.

Requirements:Non-negotiables (Minimum criteria that are required for hire, used to short list applications)

• Education: Engineering/Construction background and Bachelor Degree. Certified DACE degree is considered to be as a plus.
• Experience in the Engineering contracting environment
• Strong knowledge of database systems and advanced Excel knowledge

Skills required:

• Engineering Services – Nano Projects,medium to large (P)
• Engineering and Procurement (EP)
• Setting up the rules of credit for Engineering, procurement and contracts and construction.
• Working knowledge of the EDSR (Engineering Deliverable status report), Job card progress report, verify/self measure progress results and Earn value techniques.
• Able to translate Performance measures indicators into the project status
• Able to confidently discuss the difference indicators and provide guidance on corrective actions
• Understanding of reimbursable and lump sum contract forecast
• Analysis of cost and resource forecast based on CPI and productivity factor.
• Working knowledge of trend based forecast using productivity
• Able to self assess project forecasting tolerances and promote improved controls during the Project life cycle
• Ability to self prioritise the things that may have impact on the project delivery (e.g. decide which meeting to attend )
• Knowledge of discipline interfaces and awareness of other discipline areas of work
• Project set-up i.e. top/sub tasks, portfolio linking ….
• Project Maintenance i.e. transaction controls, TS approvers
• Project Billing i.e. Creating Events, rate build, currencies…
• Project Close-out process
• Set-up i.e. CA; sell and cost rates; export proposal to Ecosys
• Administration level of knowledge
• Set-up i.e. CA; category codes; importing as-sold
• Change Management
• Time Phasing for budgets and forecast
• Governance reporting i.e. FCS / PCS / SPPR
• Job cards (construction module)
• Microsoft Office 365 application
