The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with two years of experience at counsel level to work on high-profile and sophisticated M&A deals.Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all aspects of corporate M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and deal structuring.
- Draft and review transactional documents, including share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and disclosure schedules.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and provide insights on complex legal issues.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, opposing counsel, and financial advisors, to facilitate transaction execution.
- Manage and mentor junior lawyers and support staff on transactional matters.
- Stay informed about changes in corporate and M&A law and market trends, and provide proactive advice to clients on potential implications for their transactions.
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer admitted to practice law in France.
- Two years of experience at counsel level in corporate M&A transactions, gained at a reputable law firm.
- Strong academic background, with a law degree from a reputable institution.
- Excellent knowledge of French corporate law principles and regulations.
- Proven experience advising clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
