For more information about Solenis, please visit .Your RoleAs an EU Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (EHS), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our commercial teams and facilities in Italy and Switzerland. Your key responsibilities will include:Providing EHS support for commercial employees and plants in assigned countries.Driving the implementation of Corporate EHS Objectives & Targets.Monitoring the effectiveness of Corporate EHS programs and regulatory compliance.Developing and delivering training programs and coaching for commercial employees.Organizing safety activities, including customer site inspections, risk assessments, and job safety analysis.Leading incident reporting and investigations.What We’re Looking ForExperience & Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related fields.EHS certifications as per country requirements.3-5 years of EHS experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sectors.Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.Strong knowledge of regional EHS regulations pertinent to the chemical industry.Skills & Attributes:Familiarity with safety programs, including chemical management, behavior-based safety, and fall protection.Willingness to travel (30-50%) within assigned countries.Knowledge of Industrial Hygiene is a plus.Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.Proven capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.Ability to train others on systems and processes.Experience in Industrial Water Treatment and the Pulp and Paper industry is a valued asset.We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
