The Coordinator has a variety of responsibilities and reports to the Director Product Development Outsourced Luggage.Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor progress and address potential roadblocks.
• Involvement in the full project of a product lifecycle, from product conceptualization and trends, technical design, cost management, timeline setting to quality assurance.
• Communicate and collaborate efficiently with external stakeholders and make sure they are aligned with the company’s objectives in order to have a successful and timely production start-up.
• Participate in cost negotiations with external suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.
• Solve issues on-site and remotely during the product start-up.

Applicants should ideally:

• Have a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Product Development, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Have proven experience as a Project Manager in product development within the luggage or related consumer goods industry.
• Have a strong understanding of design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
• Have exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
