Through support and active engagement with 550+ members spanning across 35 industries globally, GRI Community promotes best practices in corporate transparency and sustainability. We are seeking an organized and proactive coordinator to join the GRI Community team and play an essential role in identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with potential and existing community members across the globe.
Under the support and management of the Senior Manager GRI Community, you will be entrusted with coordinating and leading various sales/member recruitment initiatives and projects in alignment with the teams’ goals. The role entails a strong focus on sales as well as relationship management and CRM management applying data analysis for decision-making and success measuring.   • Help identify new leads to build the pipeline of potential members. Conduct research on specific market trends, potential member sustainability reporting needs, and applicable recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and coordinate relationships with potential and existing community members, making cold calls to engage and raise awareness about the importance and benefits of transparency and sustainable reporting, and marketing GRI services.
  • Handle any inquiries from incoming leads and be their first point of contact. This includes the management of the team inbox when required and supporting the invoicing process.
  • In collaboration with the GRI Communications team coordinate marketing and communication channels including creating content for the GRI Community monthly newsletter, member retention and recruitment email campaigns, and updating the Community team’s public and private websites.
  • Provide support with internal and external meetings and events, including preparing agendas, presentations, and logistics organization using Zoom and MS Office Teams platforms.
  • Act as the CRM (Dynamics 365 and Power BI) lead for the team by organising the system and updating member contacts. Train colleagues on how to use the CRM effectively and monitor their work to suggest any improvements to maximize the member recruitment and retention processes.
  • Using data on the CRM, track sales pipeline progress, run analysis to assess effectiveness, and prepare regular reports for the team suggesting any improvements.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues across various departments, including the GRI Networks, working together to identify and create new opportunities/leads locally and within the regions to meet set GRI Community sales targets.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales/business development and/or customer-facing roles, comfortable with approaching people and cold calling.
  • Experience working with companies in the Middle East is desirable.
  • Experience coordinating and managing online and in-person events, including scheduling, preparation, and logistics organization for both internal and external meetings.
  • Previous financial administration experience.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • You work well with other people and actively contribute to the team to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects.
  • You share information, knowledge, and experience and take the initiative to keep the rest of the team informed. You are open to other people’s ideas and perspectives.
  • You can conduct thorough research and analyze data to provide insights and suggestions. You can convey information verbally and in writing to others in a simple and clear way.
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite, Zoom, Adobe and familiar with MS Dynamics and Power BI.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, additional language desirable.
  • You have a professional home office setup, including a dedicated desk or workspace that is ergonomic and includes a comfortable and adjustable chair, adequate lighting, and a reliable internet connection ensuring effective work from home.
