The team you will be a part of

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

Cooling Engineer leading and delivering projects for new or improved current cooling systems on refrigerator home appliances.

Your responsibilities will include

• Design and deliver parts related to the cooling system of the refrigerator.

• Generate new ideas and implement them for quality and cost projects.

• Give follow up on tests related to the cooling system on the laboratory and production line.

• Work with cross functional teams on the implementation of project, manufacturing, procurement, marketing.

• Ensure robustness of design supporting six sigma tools.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Mechanical, Thermodynamic or related technical field.

• 2+ years experience or related experience in Engineering

• Fluent English

Preferred skills and experiences

• Degree in Engineering

• Proven Development and Execution experience

• Good planning, communication and concept development skills

• Ability to analyze and interpret test results

• Fundamental knowledge of Simulation Based Design, specifically 3D thermo-fluid dynamic analysis and 1D system design

• Experience in home appliance component/product development
