Job Title: Chef

This role will be made permanent for the right candidate after 13-15 weeks probation period

Job 1: The working hours are Monday – Friday 7.30 pm – 12.30am

Job 2: The working hours are Saturday and Sunday 7.30pm – 12.30am

Candidate MUST have a valid DBS within last 12 months

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team in Enfield EN3. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cooking and as a Chef , ensuring that all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including basic cooking tasks, assembling sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Cooking: Perform cooking duties as required, ensuring that food is cooked to the correct temperature, taste, and presentation standards.
* Kitchen Assistance: Support the kitchen team by assisting with food prep, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly sanitized and stored.
* Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning work surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
* Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Previous experience as a chef or a lead cook
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
* Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided if necessary).
* Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
