ANDRITZ HYDRO SRL UNIPERSONALE is looking for a Controller for the service business in the HYDRO division to strengthen the department, based in Schio (VI) – Italy. The workplace will be Schio (VI), Italy. A controller is a professional within the administration, finance, and controlling area who is responsible for planning, monitoring, and analyzing the company’s economic and financial performance, supporting management in decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing economic control by monitoring costs, revenues, margins, financial risks, and the progress of assigned projects.
• Working with Project Management and other business functions to accurately determine costs to complete and ensure a proper understanding of the performance of assigned projects.
• Preparing periodic financial and management reports, analyzing actual results and variances versus budget/forecast.
• Contributing, within their area of responsibility, to the definition of the company forecast, budget, and plan.
• Supporting cost center planning and performing variance analysis between actual, budget, and forecast figures, identifying the causes of deviations and proposing corrective actions.
• Participating in monthly and annual closing activities, contributing to the accuracy of management accounting records and data reconciliation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS (knowledge)

• Knowledge of controlling principles, management accounting, budgeting, and reporting
• Excellent knowledge of and ability to use Excel
• Proficiency in using PC and the Office package in general
• Knowledge of the English Language spoken and written
• Knowledge of SAP and Spanish will be considered a plus

SCHOOL EDUCATION

Degree in Economics or Management Engineering

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience of at least 3–5 years in management control, preferably in companies operating on a project-based basis

Availability for travels in other regions
