Click ( )What type of breed are we looking for? 🐕As Controller (commercial) your primarily support the business by providing reports, forecasts, financial analysis, as well as recommendations for actions and therefore make an important contribution to the achievements of financial targets in line with the group’s strategy. Despite being a scale-up we have built a top end reporting environment in the past years! Recently awarded via “The Best Finance team 2024 award”. We are now looking for a new person to put the cherry on the cake and leverage these insights to concrete actions in close collaboration with the businessSounds like you…., we have the perfect opportunity for you to help drive the Finance controlling department at Edgard & Cooper!What will be in your bowl? 🥗In this role, you will:

• Become the “go-to” person for several core markets.
• Have full P&L responsibility for these markets, providing you with a broad scope over the company and a significant learning opportunity.
• Prepare detailed monthly Marketing budget and actual reports, including comments.
• Improve our ROI calculations on Marketing investments.
• Build business cases on innovation.
• Conduct price analysis across customers.
• Focus on budgeting and forecasting, developing, monitoring, and coordinating the planning and budget process together with the FP&A Manager, while driving the sales and opex budgets in the yearly budgeting process.

What skills & tricks should you bring? 🤹

• Ideally you have a Masters degree in Finance
• You have a solid experience in a controlling environment
• You’re able to keep optimal accuracy, even in a busy, rapid-changing environment.
• You have an advanced knowledge of Excel, experience in SAP and BI is considered a plus.
• We’re an international company, you need to be great with English and Dutch (French is a surplus).
• You are an ambitious team player with a strong sense of ownership and a can-do mentality.
• You are able to present monthly, budget and ad-hoc reportings in a clear and structured way.
• You develop reports, dashboards and tools that provide insight into key business data.
