Role- Control Systems Engineer

Salary- £35,000- £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for)

Type- Permanent

Location- Reading

The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

– Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
– 2 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls role ideally 
– Be confident carrying out the programming of control systems from scratch – i.e Siemens TIA, Beckhoff TwinCAT
– Have excellent hands on electrical engineering skills
– Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
– Excellent communication skills
– Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
– Full Driving Licence

The Control Systems Engineer role will involve:

– Programming PLC’s from scratch
– Being involved in full project lifecycle
– Taking solutions from concept right through to commissioning
– Delivering projects on time and within budget
– Ensuring company standards are always adhered to
– Travelling to customer sites as required for commissioning activities
– Creating the required documentation
– Providing remote technical support
