About the RoleLocationDenmarkHovedstadenBallerupCompanySiemens Energy A/SOrganizationSE CFOBusiness UnitGrid TechnologiesFull / Part timeFull-timeExperience LevelExperienced ProfessionalA Snapshot of Your DayAs the contract manager, your role will be to manage and coordinate contract management activities for a long-term framework agreement that includes various project and component agreements, as well as consultancy agreements. You will lead all aspects of contract finalizations, handle the contract portfolio, and execute each individual contract together with the project team.Collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Portfolio Manager will be essential to ensure that all team members are advised about risks and opportunities associated with each contract. During the execution phase, you will supervise contractual risks, assist with variations, claims, and payment requests, and ensure key milestones are achieved. You will also lead contracts with main subcontractors and partners.Constant communication with various collaborators, such as the project team, other Siemens Energy entities, customers, business partners, and third-party sub-contractors, will be vital for successful contract management. Effective teamwork and dialogue with these parties will play a key role in the successful execution of the contracts.How You’ll Make an ImpactContract management with full responsibility for operational performance of:

• Completing and implementing contracts under the framework agreement
• Supporting the project managers and the business in understanding the contracts and the risks therein, suggest strategies and prioritise how to mitigate project risks – both towards customers and subcontractors, and preparing and settling variations, claims and disputes
• Performing portfolio contract management
• Developing processes and templates together with the four other Contract Managers to improve our way of doing contract management in Siemens Energy
• Interacting with customers and subcontractors in a professional manner
• Collaborating with customers, partners, collaborators, colleagues etc.
• Preparing presentations/recommendations for decision-making material for Steering Committees

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in law or business law (HA-Jur/Cand.merc Jur, LLB, Cand.Jur. or similar). You can also have a technical or commercial background with good legal/contractual skills.
• Experience with contract management in execution of projects, portfolio of contracts or framework agreements (supervising and supporting with risk handling, variation- and claim management, contract amendments, negotiations on different levels, dispute resolutions etc.)
• Experience in working with various types of construction and supply contracts, preferable within the energy sector (however not a requirement)
• Experience with FIDIC-contracts
• Negotiation skills
• English proficiency, excellent communications, and stakeholder leadership skills
