For our site in Beringen, we are looking for a motivated Administration Specialist to join us!

Your Role

As an Administration Specialist, you are responsible for the correct administrative processing of documents and follow-up of all incoming and outgoing shipments by truck. You are in contact with the truck drivers and are the link between them and the operational teams that physically receive or ship the goods.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for receiving truck drivers and receiving/delivering all freight documents;

  • You ensure the accurate processing of all freight documents;

  • You ensure the correct translation of these documents into our proprietary software system;

  • You monitor the loading and unloading process together with your colleagues from operations and give feedback to the truck drivers;

  • You keep a current overview of all current items;

  • You anticipate possible problems, think proactively of solutions, and, if necessary, discuss these with your supervisor;

  • You ensure a proper and tidy transfer of pending items to your colleagues during shift changes and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Experience in logistics is a plus, not a necessity;

  • You preferably have some initial administrative experience behind you;

  • You are a born “multitasker”;

  • You are good with all kinds of PC applications and can quickly learn new things;

  • You are open to working shifts (early/late/night). Weekend work does not scare you off, and you want to work on a Saturday or a Sunday;

  • You speak Dutch and can express yourself in French and English.
