Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.The Contract Administrator will be responsible for all the activities related to Suppliers promise integrity (purchase orders fulfillment).
In this role you will directly report to the Procurement Manager within Sourcing Organization and you will be cross-functional in the Structural Casting Commodity. You will also be responsible from a delivery point of view for the Suppliers risk mitigation and you will support the Supplier Assessment team in executing improvement plans in case of any issue.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesManage actions plans for improvement, Working internally with other departments and externally with suppliers, referring to Procurement Leader in case of escalationEnsure timely deliveries on contract requirements for Critical Parts only and resolve delivery issuesGet Well creation, management and order book reviewSupport RCCA definition and problem solving initiativesEnable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery issuesKPI communication, analysis, reconciliation with supplier and improvement recovery actionsRecurrent On site visit @ suppliersSupport accounting and invoicingRaw material coverage and Inventory management supportQualification/RequirementsDegree, preferably in Engineering, from an accredited university or collegeKnowledge of the sourcing field and previous and concrete work experience in Buying/Procurement or Manufacturing Engineering/Quality Engineering or Program Management/Sourcing or Fulfillment/PlanningStrong commercial attitude (interpersonal, oral and written communication skills) supported by significant ability to analyze and resolve problems and work in a cross-functional teamwork environmentWillingness to travel at least 30% of the timeFluent Italian and EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsDemonstrated skills to lead projects and document, plan, and execute programsPrevious experience in suppliers managementStrong analytic problem-solving mindsetKnowledge of SAP MM ModuleWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
