Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for engine and mechanical transmissions applied to both civil and military aviation (i.e., accessory drivetrains, engine thermal management, turboprop & helicopter reduction gearboxes, etc.).As Contract Administrator you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies, achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely deliveries on contract requirements for Critical Parts only – Short term view including equation requestsResolve delivery issuesAbility to create partnership with SuppliersCreation and Management of recovery plan for ordered partsEnable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery IssuesStrategize to expedite deliveriesKPI communication, analysis, reconciliation with supplier and improvement recovery actionsOn site visit @ suppliers when necessaryEnd-User flow/data managementOrder book reviewPayment issueInput material control and Inventory management – supportQualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Technical disciplines preferred, from an accredited university or collegePrevious experience in similar roleKnowledge of the sourcing fieldStrong oral and written communication skillsAttitude to work in a cross-functional teamwork environmentStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsProven ability to lead projectsAbility to document, plan, and execute programsEstablished project management skillsFluent in Italian and EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsSAP MM Module certificatePrevious experience in an Aerospace company is preferredPrevious experience in materials planning with foreign SuppliersFlexibility in organizing tasks and activities as needed by the BusinessSignificant experience in Procurement/Fulfillment roleWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
