Your Role

Under the guidance of the Contract Logistics Production System Black Belt the Continuous Improvement Expert’s responsibility is to implement Kuehne+Nagel’s continuous improvement program (Production System) for our logistics site in Mantova (MN) in alignment with local management team and ensures the delivery of savings and productivity improvements. He/she will be the key representative and active promoter of Continuous Improvement culture that the site needs to embrace.

Your Responsibilities

• Facilitates and fosters the Continuous Improvement process, culture and site program deployment across the warehousing operation
• Identifies, leads and delivers LSS projects using DMAIC methodology and statistical tool in line with site objectives and budget requirements
• Implements and mantains standards and tools as foreseen by Kuehne+Nagel’s Operational Excellence program, such as 5S, Visual Management, Standard work, SQCDEP boards and more
• Co-Facilitates Deep Dive Value Stream Analysis and lean events at a local level
• Trains, coaches and supports employees at various levels in the organization in applying continuous improvement techniques and tools

Your Skills and Experiences

• Master’s degree in Management/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Practice certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or relevant Lean Six Sigma Experience (min. 2 years)
• Proven track record of successful use of Lean Six Sigma Tools and completion of continuous improvement projects
• Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain or Production Environment is a plus
• Analytical and problem solving thinking combined with a hands-on and proactive mind-set.
• Demonstrates a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to energize and inspire others
• Advanced skills in MS office tools, Minitab regarded as a plus
• Fluent in Italian, advanced in English
• Job Location is Mantova (MN).
