Position: Content Manager Salary: £30,000 – £35,000Location: Robertsbridge, East Sussex Working Style: Remote
My client is looking for a skilled Content Manager to join their team. The primary objective of this role is to take ownership of our company’s content marketing strategy. You will be responsible for attracting visitors to our website, converting these visitors into valuable leads, and working closely with the sales team to nurture and convert these leads into satisfied customers.
Reporting To:
Marketing Manager.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Recent experience in both B2B and B2C environments.
- Proven proficiency in utilising tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills with a deep appreciation for the significance of content marketing.
- Outstanding teamwork and communication skills across verbal, written, and visual mediums.
- Strong advocate for giving and receiving feedback constructively.
- Ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
- Effective interviewing skills and a natural inclination towards attentive listening.
- Desirable: Proficiency in HTML/CSS and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop a content strategy that aligns with short-term and long-term marketing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to plan and create website content, ensuring alignment with our brand’s style and layout.
- Create and publish a diverse range of captivating content.
- Edit, proofread, and enhance writers’ posts.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging by liaising with content writers.
- Optimise content for SEO purposes.
- Utilise content management systems to analyse website traffic and user engagement metrics.
- Employ CRM tools to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and nurture them through dynamic workflows to become satisfied customers.
- Manage content distribution across online channels and social media platforms to boost web traffic.
- Develop and maintain an editorial calendar while ensuring the content team remains aligned.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as copyright and data protection.
- Stay updated with industry developments and generate innovative ideas to capture the audience’s attention.
