About this jobWe are seeking a talented Consultant to join our dynamic Research and Innovation Team in our Brussels office. In this role, you will work across a diverse range of projects, including evaluation studies of EU and national funding programmes, market and policy analyses, and research initiatives. Your work will involve contributing to high-impact projects, such as assessing the performance of initiatives related to the European Research Area or contributing to the evaluation of national research and innovation programmes.Your profile

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public sector consultancy or related fields;
• Master’s degree in economics, political science, management of innovation
• Acquainted with qualitative research methods (e.g. literature review, desk research, interviews, case studies, surveys) and quantitative methods
• Knowledge of the new developments in European Commission; policies, in particular in science, technology and innovation
• Good analytical skills with the ability to draw insightful conclusions from data
• Good communication skills in English, including the ability to write clear and concise documents and deliver engaging presentations
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members from diverse backgrounds
• Experience working in a consulting firm or other professional services environment preferred
• Knowledge of business development processes
• Willingness to learn about new topics and methods, and gain new skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Contribute to evaluations, impact assessments and other research studies
• Manage work packages and small scale projects with the supervision of a senior colleague
• Provide input to methodological design and implementation of data collection tools independently
• Support for qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis including coordination of junior colleagues

• Conducting interviews programmes with various stakeholders (industry, agencies, public sector, etc.);
• Designing & drafting case studies and analytical summaries;
• Developing & analysing survey & public consultations
• Designing and organising workshops and working groups, both online and on-site.
• Support in writing clear and concise reports that present findings and recommendations in a compelling and accessible manner.
• Prepare engaging presentations to clients and stakeholders;
• Contribute to the development of new business opportunities by helping proposal leaders
