As a Consultant in our Tax Technology Consulting practice, you will help clients tackle some of their key challenges in this dynamic environment. Projects may include interviewing clients, documenting results from workshops, determining tax requirements, researching tax issues, and helping to translate the tax requirements into operating models for the client. Within Tax Technology Consulting, you may have the opportunity to travel to client locations across the country and establish consultative working relationships with client personnel.Tax Technology Consulting at DeloitteThe market for tax services is changing. Our TTC-team is distinctive and combines Deloitte’s deep expertise within tax advisory, with a hands-on technology and process focus, allowing our clients end-to-end global advisory services and technology enablement.Our TTC-team focuses on Tax Technology Consulting, Tax Strategy Consulting and Tax Operation and Transformation Consulting incl. Global Coordinated Tax Compliance.We often collaborate with colleagues in the wider Deloitte being Audit, Financial Advisory Services, Enterprise Risk Services, and Consulting. Our work is typically project-based and focuses on implementation of automation and technology solutions, process improvement and transformation of the tax function.You will be joining a team that is front and centre, and partner closely with clients to get to the heart of the solution. • Collaboration with tax and consulting colleagues across a range of industry specialists (ranging from Financial Services, Real Estate, Consumer Business, Energy & Resources, Technology, Media & Telecommunications) within the Nordic practice;
• Working with the offshore and nearshore teams to plan and deliver the entire compliance and/or reporting process;
• Support clients in the implementation of new ERP systems with a focus on ensuring the right tax processes and structure;
• Work actively with promoting and deploying technology to support tax processes at client sites;
• Actively seeking possible improvements to processes, technologies and methodologies (e.g. automation, analytics, etc.), and communicate the ideas with the team of colleagues;
• Participate in and drive client deliverables of varying types;
• Overseeing the statement of works and contracts shared from the team to the clients;
• Actively be part of an international team with focus on diversity and inclusion;
• Development of a working knowledge of the wider TTC-practice and ensure that these wider offerings are introduced to existing clients where relevant – offering the client a holistic solution.
